My name is Shawn Sullivan. I have been a photographer for nearly 20 years, although it has only been over the last 5 years that I have made it a profession. I started taking pictures around the time my fingers were able to reach the shutter button; I started capturing moments when I realized that I was taking much more than snapshots.
The emotional connection between people and their personal photos is amazing. Just ask one of your grandparents to tell you a story behind one of their many images and you will be surprised at the amount of sheer happiness, sadness, or joy that it brings out.
Photography is more than an art, its a part of our lives.
